Webopolis uses no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. The only cookies we set are strictly necessary for the site to function and do not require consent under applicable law (article 82 of the French Data Protection Act).
Strictly necessary cookies
- NEXT_LOCALE — remembers the chosen language (French/English). Duration: 1 year.
- WEBOPOLIS_COUNTRY — remembers the country being browsed in the city. Duration: 1 year.
- WEBOPOLIS_CURRENCY — remembers the display currency for pricing. Duration: 1 year.
- wv_session (named __Host-wv_session in production, a browser security prefix) — session cookie for brands signed in to their dashboard; keeps you authenticated. Technical cookie (httpOnly), removed on sign-out or expiry.
What we don't do
No advertising cookie, no social network pixel, no third-party analytics tracker (Google Analytics or equivalent) as of today. If a lightweight audience measurement tool (such as self-hosted Plausible or Matomo, configured without individual identifiers) were added in the future, this page would be updated accordingly.
Managing cookies
Since these cookies are strictly necessary for the site to work (language, country, currency, sign-in), they are not subject to a consent banner. You can still remove them at any time from your browser settings; removing wv_session will sign you out of your brand dashboard.
